Dear patient research partners,

You are invited to participate in our study that aims to raise awareness on the importance of physical activity in people with Rheumatic and Musculoskeletal Diseases (RMDs).
Our goal is to help and support your managing healthcare practitioners to understand more about physical activity as well as incorporate/include physical activity advice in your clinical consultations.

Physical activity has multiple different benefits for RMDs, including better quality of life, better fitness and sleep, less fatigue and pain while it can also reduce inflammation. We believe it is necessary that alongside your medication, physical activity is used to better manage your symptoms.

To do this we have developed a team of research experts and patient organizations from across seven countries, with support from the European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) and the EULAR People with Arthritis and Rheumatism (PARE) organizations. Through this survey, which takes no more than 10-15 minutes to complete, we kindly ask you to provide information on your symptoms that matter to you most and affect your everyday, as well as questions on physical activity that you may undertake. We also ask you to provide some generic information about you (age, condition, country of origin).

Your feedback is important to us and will be used to develop our proposal and recommendations on specific interventions that will be centred on the patients’ needs.
Your participation is entirely voluntary. We have also developed the questionnaire in such a way, so that all the data you provide are anonymous. There are no correct or wrong answers, since we are only interested in your personal view on the topic. Link to the survey: click here.

We would like to thank you very much in advance for helping us. We believe that this project will provide useful information that will improve significantly clinical management and disease symptoms for RMDs. In case you have any questions please email directly the principal investigator: or the researchers that will be responsible for the data collection and analyses: and

Alvast bedankt!
